Sometimes I do all right and others not so good, BUT I'm trying. My mom recently gave me an article from the newspaper called "Added sugars are clearly not the cause of obesity". Basically they blame too many calories, too little exercise, and lack of moderation in food consumption. Then it goes on to say that HFCS and table sugar are nearly identical and HFCS is not the problem.
I agree with them about too many calories and too little exercise but sugar is part of the problem too. We eat/drink way too much of it. My bro-in-law dropped 30 lbs. just by quitting pop.
Thanks for the clarity on HFCS.Lalabowershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09642970590869081438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2787698713835410146.post-56863353286861055182010-10-20T08:21:34.367-04:002010-10-20T08:21:34.367-04:00That is THE most comprehensive, clear and understa...That is THE most comprehensive, clear and understandable explanation of HFCS that I have ever read. Thank you! I should be more cautious- I know some squeezes into our house in salad dressing and even bread when I'm not on my toes at the grocery.

Several years ago I decided to never eat store bought sweets. If someone bakes- hey, I'm all over it. But cookies, brownies, cakes from the store... I can skip them and not miss them. It was such a simple change but made a difference. My Kids' Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07568872428132909098noreply@blogger.com
