I tell my kids that you can choose whether or not you do drugs but you can't choose your body's reaction to drugs. Some people do it socially and some have a hard core addiction right out of the chute. We are plagued with some addictions in my family so I'm very frank about the fact that the addictions are in our family and we don't know if we have them or not so we should just stay away. And I think the conversations can start early.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
